Navdeep Kaur – Co-Founder & Creative Head
A colour whisperer, a design thinker, and a seeker of softness — Navdeep Kaur has over 18 years of experience in colour research, material innovation, and visual storytelling. An alumna and visiting faculty of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, Navdeep has helped shape the language of colour for brands like Asian Paints, Safari, Welspun, Colgate Palmolive, and Kohler India, blending intuition with insight to create visual worlds that resonate deeply.
At Kinavu, she brings her lifelong passion for fabric and form into every collection. Her deep research in Colour, Material & Finish (CMF), combined with years of exploring baby-safe textiles, has shaped Kinavu’s gentle material philosophy — one that respects the skin, the senses, and the Indian environment.
Navdeep believes that a bedsheet is never just a product. It’s a mood, a memory, and a message of care, belonging, and conscious living. Her vision ensures that every piece is not only beautiful to look at, but deeply nurturing to live with.
Vijay Prakash – Co-Founder & Strategy Head
Vijay Prakash, loves stories - from people, history, mythology, of brands, of brand builders and the ones in everyday life. Vijay has spent nearly two decades building brands, creating content and handling growth strategy for some of India’s most loved companies, including Asian Paints and The Walt Disney Company.
As Head of Content at Star Sports, he pioneered consumer-first content thinking, bringing stories to life that were as emotionally powerful as they were commercially successful. He has since mentored and advised multiple startups on brand positioning, digital growth, and storytelling that connects.
At Kinavu, Vijay brings his understand of Indian consumers and their association with homes. With the belief that people deserve richness and abundance in their lives, starting with their homes, he has been building a brand that delivers on this.
