Product FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

1. What sizes are available, and which one should I choose?

The blanket comes in two sizes — Single (50x90 inches) and Double (90x90 inches). The Single works well for a one-person bed or as a personal layer on a larger bed. The Double is sized to cover a standard Indian double or queen bed comfortably.

2. What makes this blanket suitable for warm weather?

It is made from 4-layer cotton gauze — an open, airy weave that allows air to move freely through the fabric. Light enough to sleep under without feeling heavy or warm, making it well-suited for India's warmer months and humid nights.

3. How does it feel? Is it soft?

The blanket is soft from the first use and gets noticeably softer with every wash. The gauze weave gives it a subtle texture — light and cloud-like against the skin.

4. Can it be used year-round?

Yes. It works best as a standalone layer through summer and the monsoon months. In cooler weather, it layers well under a heavier blanket for added warmth without bulk.

5. Can it be machine-washed?

Yes. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Line dry in shade and ensure it is completely dry before storing. Wash separately to keep the gauze fabric in its best condition — and to avoid snagging on buttons, hooks, or zippers from other clothes.

6. How is this different from the Cotton Gauze Quilt?

The blanket and the quilt serve different purposes. The quilt — with its polyfill wadding Is designed to keep you warm in AC and cold weathers. The blanket is pure 4-layer cotton gauze with no filling, making it far lighter and more versatile. Think of it as your everyday companion — wrap it around yourself on a breezy monsoon evening, reach for it on the couch, or use it as a light layer on the bed when the night is too warm for the quilt. It goes wherever you go.
